Which Body Areas can be treated by Liposuction?
Trying to look good can be frustrating when, no matter how much you exercise or how healthy your diet, you can’t seem to eliminate fat from your problem areas. Liposuction performed by Dr. Yessenow will help sculpt the body by removing unwanted fat from specific areas, including the abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks, and neck.
What types of Liposcution does Dr. Yessenow Perform?
A number of new techniques, including ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty, the tumescent technique, and the super-wet technique, are used by Dr. Yessenow to provide selected patients with more precise results and quicker recovery times. Although no type of liposuction is a substitute for dieting and exercise, liposuction can remove stubborn areas of fat that don’t respond to traditional weight-loss methods.
Am I a candidate for Liposuction?
The best candidates for liposuction, Dr. Yessenow believes, are people of normal weight with firm, elastic skin, who have pockets of excess fat in certain areas.
What is the Liposuction Procedure Like?
During liposuction surgery, Dr. Yessenow makes a tiny incision through which he inserts a narrow tube, which he uses to vacuum away the fat layer that lies deep beneath the skin. The tube is pushed, and then pulled through the fat layer, breaking up the fat cells and suctioning them out. Depending on the circumstances, Dr. Yessenow uses a vacuum pump or a large syringe to provide the suction action. If many sites are being treated, Dr. Yessenow will then move on to the next area, working to keep the incisions as inconspicuous as possible. Fluid is lost along with the fat, and, using his skilled surgeon’s hands, Dr. Yessenow is able to replace it during the procedure to prevent shock.
