Randall S. Yessenow, MD, FACS
Dr. Randall S. Yessenow is the only physician in Northwest Indiana to be certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology (Ear Nose & Throat-Head and Neck Surgery).
An honors graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Yessenow continued his education at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He received the Landacre Society Award for Medical Research and the Samuel J. Roessler Medical Research Scholar Award. During this time, Dr. Yessenow had several papers published in medical journals and co-authored chapters in several textbooks.
Dr. Yessenow then completed his General Surgery Internship at The University of Iowa. This was followed by entering the highly selective Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery training program at The University of Iowa, where he served as Chief Resident. He attended The University of Oklahoma for his plastic surgery training, where he became a Chief Resident. He continued his research and published multiple papers during this time. His training concluded in New York City at the prestigious Lenox Hill Hospital. During this time, he trained with some of the most well respected aesthetic/cosmetic surgeons in the country.
Dr. Yessenow is active in his professional organizations. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, where he has served on several committees. He is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Indiana State Medical Association.
